Smile Train Egypt – Awareness Film with Miss Universe Egypt

Smile Train is the world’s largest cleft lip and palate charity, partnering with local hospitals and surgeons to provide free, safe surgery and comprehensive care to children born with clefts, including in Egypt. The goal was to raise awareness of Smile Train’s work in Egypt and encourage support by putting a familiar, trusted face at the heart of the story. We produced an awareness film and a short interview featuring Diana Hamed, Miss Universe Egypt 2019, as Smile Train’s ambassador. The film follows her from the Alexandria seafront to a partner hospital, where she meets mothers and their babies before and after surgery, and shows the medical team in the operating room and on the ward. The interview captures her speaking directly to camera about the cause. Both videos carry clean name lower thirds and close on the Smile Train logo, keeping the series in line with Smile Train’s red and blue visual identity.
